FAQS
What type of floor stands is the Harbor Camera compatible with?
The Floor Stand Adapter makes the Harbor Camera compatible with floor stands that have a 1/4-20 screw thread mounting option. This is the most common option many online, third-party floor stands come with. Please send us a message at support@harbor.co if you want to check with us before your purchase.
Is the Harbor Camera compatible with Nanit floor stand?
No.
Is using a floor stand safe?
We strongly recommend parents to use their own judgement for their baby monitor setup. Mounting directly to the wall or placing the Camera on a high shelf out of baby's reach still remain the safest options.
If using a floor stand, we also suggest sandwiching it between the wall and crib to reduce the risk of tipping, if accidentally knocked over.
What about the stands that attach directly to the cribs?
We never recommend using crip-on clib stands/arms as the Camera is too close to baby. For safety reasons, the Camera should be at least 3' away at all times.
