Hours of research and recommendations from friends led our CEO and Cofounder, Kevin Lavelle, to Nanit, which had received a good deal of publicity.
A few weeks later his son was asleep in the nursery upstairs. Kevin rolled over to check the Nanit app on his phone, only to find that it had crashed, leaving his son unmonitored overnight. With no idea how long the app had been off, Kevin sprinted upstairs in a panic (something we've now learned has happened to many WiFi camera users). His son was fine, but to discover that this baby "monitor" was so incredibly unreliable and left his family in the dark was alarming, to say the least.
After further research, Kevin came to understand despite their advertising, apps on phones are NOT baby monitors.

Kevin Lavelle, CEO and Co-Founder of Harbor, brings a wealth of experience from his role as the Founder and Chairman of Mizzen+Main having invented the world’s first performance fabric dress shirt.
From an idea initially dismissed, Kevin transformed the menswear industry with product now sold in over 1,000 stores around the country and unforgettable partnerships with JJ Watt and Phil Mickelson. More important than anything professional, Kevin is a loving husband and father of two wonderful children. His experience as a parent has informed every aspect of building Harbor, especially a desire to help kids and parents alike get more sleep & sanity back in their lives.

Charlie Hill
As the CPO & Co-Founder, Charlie Hill has a track record of success, having led STRATIS to a successful acquisition. His focus is on software development and product leadership, security, embedded systems, and IoT infrastructure.
Charlie is a proud father of two young boys and a dedicated husband. Prior to stepping back into the world of tech, he was a Kiowa Warrior helicopter pilot in the US Army for 7 years.

Kelly, our Director of Nursing, is a Registered Nurse and proud mom of three with extensive experience in pediatrics. She is a seasoned Night Nanny with over 10 years of experience, specializing in sleep training and infant care. With her expertise, Kelly is here to support parents and families on their journey to better sleep and wellness.

Lindsey Sullivan
Lindsey brings her extensive experience from her role in marketing at a top menswear brand. She is a mother of two and has a successful track record having previously run marketing, commerce, and brand for a top DTC company, leading them to a successful exit, along with working with a dozen other e-commerce companies as a Fractional CMO and Marketing Consultant.
