After you book your RNN experience through the Harbor Mobile App, we’ll schedule an introductory call. Our RNNs will discuss your sleep goals, your child's feeding schedule, and any other questions you might have. We’ll discuss a healthy & safe plan for your child and walk you through our Monitor and Camera.
You’ll have easy instructions to set up your Monitor and mobile failsafe alerts for overnight care & peace of mind.
When it’s time for Harbor to take over each night, you’ll grant access to your Monitor. Without this, Harbor cannot see your feed. Don’t worry—once the session ends, your feed is completely private and you can turn it off any time.
Harbor will then turn off your Monitor screen and mute the audio, allowing you to get much-needed, uninterrupted sleep.
All night long, your Harbor RNN will watch your child closely to ensure they are safe and following the schedule.
When your child needs you, your RNN will send an alert to your Monitor to wake you. In the event you do not wake, Harbor will send escalating alerts and then use Emergency Bypass Mode on your phone as a failsafe backup.If there’s ever a lost connection, our built-in failsafe technology will immediately cancel the remote session and turn your Monitor and its audio back on, making it just a normal night with your Monitor
In the morning, Harbor will turn your Monitor back on and connect with you directly through text or call to ensure your baby is never alone.
RNN will send an alert for parent to acknowledge to confirm end of shift. Once alert is acknowledged, parent again has full audio and visual on monitor of child.
Sleep for the entire family. Not hearing every sound in the middle of the night allows for parents to get more, uninteruppted sleep.
Safeguarded with end-to-end encryption. Your feed can never been seen by our Care Team without explicit consent through the Mobile App.
Your RNN will work with you to make age-specific recommendations on sleep and schedules for your child to reach your desired sleep goals.
Harbor’s Remote Night Nannies are educated professionals with robust training and experience that have been employed by other families, night nanny agencies, or in the medical field.
In-home night nannies can be incredibly expensive, and difficult to find. In most major cities, it can cost $400-700 per night for weeks on end. While hands on help is incredible, it’s also unaffordable for almost everyone and can be incredibly difficult to find vetted, trusted providers.
Harbor Night Nannies monitor your child remotely until wake up time, alerting you through the monitor only when necessary for feeding or soothing with failsafe alerts in the event you don’t wake up or there is a loss of connection. We have every family go through a robust onboarding process to answer all questions.
Harbor Remote Night Nannies alert your Monitor first and have eyes on your child at all times. If you do not respond to the initial alert, we send an escalated alert that cannot be missed. We’ll also walk you through backup phone call protocol setup. That said, you should always have your Monitor in your room with you, plugged in, and be capable of responding.
Our RNNs are only allotted only a few children at a time to ensure maximum attention and focus for each family.

Prior to your chosen night, our Remote Night Nanny will connect with you to discuss your child, sleep schedule and goals while they guide you through the process.
Depending on your child’s age, we will suggest personalized sleep training schedules to help you and your child rest easy.

With your Harbor, you will get a free extended trial to our Remote Night Nanny! Simply navigate to the Harbor Mobile App and select Care from the bottom menu.
You will be prompted to select your free nights (free nights must be 5 consecutive days, starting on a Sunday). If you don't see your dates available, please email our Care Team: careteam@harbor.co
After you select your nights, you will fill out a short survey about your family and child (don't worry, all your information is private and secure)! After you book, our Care Team will reach out to schedule your onboarding call and go over all details and any questions you may have.
